Beware! Hoax Reading Competition On Myspace

If you are in an unsigned band and have been looking at playing at Reading Festival then beware! The Official Reading Festival team have uncovered a hoax myspace profile calling itself “Festival Unlocked.”
They claim to be running a competition for unsigned bands to play at Reading Festival 2008, but this is not true!
The site has no link with the festival and none of the bands will be on the bill via this site.

i don’t understand why people even do this kind of thing. I feel really sorry for the bands that have already joined
