The official Reading Festival website has had reports of people pretending to be from See Tickets and offering out Reading Festival tickets over the phone.
The number that phones is a mobile phone number that is not associated with see tickets, and they may ask for your credit card details over the phone.
Cage The Elephant Self-confirm Reading Festival 2008?
A band called Cage the Elephant have self-confirmed themselves for Reading Festival 2008.
So far there has been nothing posted on their official myspace page, www.myspace.com/cagetheelephant but other sources have been reporting that this band will play. There is also quite a large gap in their tour where Reading is!

Important Shuttle Bus Information For Reading Festival
This year you will again be able to use the shuttle bus service that is provided by Reading Festival. I assume it is also free of charge.
The pick up is at the front of Reading railway station itself and the drop off is at The Moderation Pub on Caversham Road, which apparently is only about 2 minutes walk away from the actual Reading Festival site.
