Cage The Elephant Self-confirm Reading Festival 2008?

A band called Cage the Elephant have self-confirmed themselves for Reading Festival 2008.
So far there has been nothing posted on their official myspace page, www.myspace.com/cagetheelephant but other sources have been reporting that this band will play. There is also quite a large gap in their tour where Reading is!
I couldn’t find any other information to post about the band as their official website is currently down, and they don’t have anything on their myspace page.

i’ve not heard of the band before but i checked out their myspace and some of the songs are pretty cool
