Reading Festival Main Stage ‘Too Quiet’ for fans
Most people would expect tents, sunshine and loud music at Reading Festival, but apparently this year this was not the case.
Many complained about the lack of decibels after such acts as Bloc Party, Metallica and Rage Against the Machine on the main stage this year, but festival organiser Melvin Benn said “we had the council on our backs all weekend, they insisted that we lowered the volume.”
Doherty Leaps Into Reading Festival Crowd
Pete Doherty leaped into the crowd during his set at Reading Festival 2008!
The headline grabbing singer songwriter apparently made reference to being banned from appearing at another festival because he incited too much violence. Shortly after, he hopped the barriers causing pandemonium.
Rage Blast Reading With Political Set
Rage Against the Machine rocked the Reading Festival stage with a politically fueled set this weekend.
The band entered the stage dressed in orange jumps suits and black bags covering their heads, a probable reference to US foreign policy, say the BBC.
