“Weekend ticket holders will get that every day!,” organisers confirmed.

“It’s true. We have just announced details on how we will be feeding and watering you over the festival.”

Melvin Benn also made the following statement on the official website:

“First thing’s first, I’m a veggie myself and have been most of my life, and of course there will be veggie burgers for all the veggies. There will also be soft drinks for people who do not or cannot drink because of age restrictions. And, as I explained to BBC 6 Music, it is only for the three music days – not everyday and only for weekend ticket holders – but it will be from a number of food stalls and it will definitely happen. As I said, even if I have to pay for it myself it will happen!”

Tickets for Reading Festival 2012 go on sale on Monday 12th at 7:15pm. The line-up will also be announced at the same time.

Lead singer of the band Corey Taylor Tweeted: “There are rumors flying around that we’re playing Leeds and Reading this year. They’re not true. Just setting the record straight,” [#]

The Reading Festival 2012 line-up will be officially released on 12th March 2012 at 7:15pm. Tickets will also go on sale at the same time.

Unofficial festival rumours site eFestivals, who have been a reliable source in the past, have unofficially confirmed that the band will be one of three that headline the main stage.

At this point in time rumours also suggest that the RHCP, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead are all in with a shout of taking the other places.

Tickets for the general public go on sale on Friday December 2nd 2011 at 9am.

Rumoured acts include Bloc Party, Foo Fighters and Green Day.

So far no acts have been officially confirmed, but organisers have confirmed that ‘terrific’ headliners are already booked.

The Foo Fighters, Greenday and The Prodigy will headline Reading Festival 2012 according to leading music news website, Gig Wise.

They published today that “an exclusive source ” had revealed the information to them.

Currently both Greenday and the Foo Fighters have been linked with the festival, however no news of The Prodigy has currently been heard.

Other rumoured bands include Blink 182, Noel Gallagher and more.

The tickets will go on sale at 9am, and we anticipate they will be locked at last years prices.
